Bright Stars Children’s Center will be closed on major national and pre-determined holidays as noted below. A list of holidays is also included in your admission package. You will receive a new list of holidays in the beginning of each year.
In 2018-2019 BSC will be closed on the following holidays:

- Veterans Day – November 12, 2018
- Thanksgiving – ( Wednesday – Friday ) November 21-22-23, 2018
- Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday – January 21, 2019
- President’s Day – February 18, 2019
- Spring cleaning / Teachers workshop – April 11 & 12, 2019
- Memorial Day – May 27, 2019
- Labor Day – September 3, 2019
- Columbus Day – October 14, 2019
- Veteran’s Day – November 11, 2019
- Thanksgiving (Wednesday – Friday) – November 27-28-29, 2019
Winter Break and Summer Vacation
Over the holidays BSC will be closed for a winter break. The winter break will most likely follow the Dixie School District Calendar. The winter break dates for the 2018/2019 school year are: December 24th through January 4th. The first day of school in 2019 is January 7th.
BSC will be closed for 10 days vacation in the summer. Our summer vacation dates for 2019 are: June 24th through July 5th.
